Guest Comments:

My wife and I very much enjoyed the golfing excursion to Valley of the Eagles in Haines Alaska. The trip over to Haines from Skagway on the fast ferry included a great narration on the history of the area and Alaska in general. The course was very scenic with eagles soaring overhead and wild iris growing everywhere in the rough. Fairways were a little wet, but we weren't expecting to see Augusta National conditions. By inventing some "local" rules, we played well and had a great adventure. They furnished excellent sets of clubs and we rented a golf cart. When finished, we were treated to some local history by the owner, whose granddaughter was also our tour guide for the day. On the fast ferry back, the Captain lingered near some spectacular waterfalls for pictures. Highly recommended!
